The image I used as a reference is from a wonderful photographer I discovered on the Internet the other day: http://www.grayscott.com/ (the photo is in the gallery of the same name as this drawing).
I like the way it turned out.
It took about 7 hours.

Just a note, this piece is 100% hand drawn- no computer editing (besides boarder and watermark).
Materials: Outlined in Sakura Micron 005, colored with Prismacolor pencils and markers on 8.5x10 inch sketchbook paper. Background done with copic airbrush, sparkles added with a white gel pen.
Time: 5 hours sketch, 5 hours outline, 40+ hours coloring, 1 hour re-outline, 32 hour background. Adds up to around 55 hour or so.
